Are there any unaired episodes left or is that it? This past season seemed kind of short.

ABC summer staple Rookie Blue is turning in its badge and gun as the Toronto-set cop series is ending after six seasons.
A production of IFC Films and eOne, Rookie Blue started off focusing on five rookie cops in their personal and professional lives. As the series progressed, they still felt like rookies despite their several years on the job. The Season 6 finale, which aired September 3 on ABC and served as the series finale, saw the wedding of Officer Andy McNally (Missy Peregrym) and Detective Sam Swarek (Ben Bass). The cast also included Gregory Smith, Charlotte Sullivan, Enuka Okuma, Travis Milne, Peter Mooney, Priscilla Faia, Matt Gordon and Rachael Ancheril.
Executive producers include Ilana Frank, Tassie Cameron, Russ Cochrane, David Wellington and John Morayniss. Shaw Media said today that is partnering with Frank’s ICF Films and eOne on a new project, but no details were announced.
“The success of Rookie Blue is a testament not only to the extremely talented team of Ilana Frank, Tassie Cameron, David Wellington and studio Entertainment One but the electrifying cast that has resonated with legions of fans that have followed the show since Season 1,” said Christine Shipton, SVP and Chief Creative Officer at Shaw Media. “After six seasons the series reached a natural conclusion, and this season’s finale was the perfect wrap up for both our rookies and for fans.”
‘Dominion’ Canceled After 2 Seasons By Syfy
Syfy has decided not to order a third season of supernatural action drama Dominion, which just wrapped its Season 2 run. Created by Vaun Wilmott based on characters from the 2010 feature Legion, Dominion, which starred Christopher Eagan, was set 25 years in the future after a war between an army of angels and mankind has transformed the world. There is no decision yet on Defiance, which is awaiting word on Season 4.
“Led by Vaun Wilmott, the talented cast, producers, writers and crew of Dominion have done a tremendous job bringing this ambitious, cinematic series to the screen over the past two seasons,” Syfy said in a statement. “We thank them, as well as our producing partners Universal Cable Productions, Bold Films and Film Afrika.”
Dominion saw its ratings drop in Season 2, averaging a 0.3 in 18-49 (Live+ same day), down -47% from Season 1, and 0.9 million viewers, down -45%.
Bold Films, which produced the movie for Screen Gems, co-produced the series with Universal Cable Prods. It was shot in South Africa.
Coming up for Syfy later this year are new series The Expanse, starring Thomas Jane, and limited series Children’s End, an adaptation of Arthur C. Clarke’s classic novel.
On tap for next year are new series The Magicians, Hunters as well as returning 12 Monkeys, which was renewed for a second season, and Canadian imports Killjoys and Dark Matter.
No more episodes after the 10.Every time there's a new post in here I keep checking back to see if Minority Report is dead or not...
‘Minority Report’ Order Cut By 3 Episodes
Sucks to be you, Minority Report.Following a slow start, Minority Report‘s original 13-episode order has been trimmed to 10 episodes. Fox is stopping short of canceling the futuristic thriller, though there will be no additional episodes ordered beyond the 10, with production slated to wrap after that.![]()
They did have a Tom Cruise lookalike for a couple of episodes. It was his cousin. They should've hired Tom cruise lookalike to wander around in the back ground, until you begin to wonder if his character is back, or hey, how did they afford Tom, is that Tom?
NBC has moved in to preemptively cut the orders of its midseason comedies Superstore starring America Ferrera and Hot & Bothered toplined by Eva Longoria from the original 13 to 11 episodes each. The move comes as NBC brass are starting to put together the network’s midseason schedule. I hear the two single-camera comedies were about halfway through production on their 13-episode orders, allowing for the reduction. The network’s third new midseason comedy, the multi-camera Crowded, is said to be further along, so it is expected to complete its 13-episode pickup. (As a multi-cam, it also is less expensive to produce.)
In the new economic realities of eroding Live+Same Day ratings, the broadcast networks are trying to be pragmatic with their series orders, picking up the number of episodes their schedule needs and not more. ABC for several years has been handing out midseason orders that have been all over the place depending where the network would air them, including 8 episodes (Scandal, Agent Carter) and 10 episodes (Secrets & Lies).
There are no order cuts on the drama side for now. The Jennifer Lopez starrer Shades Of Blue is set to stay 13 episodes (and it also is close to wrapping production on its order). Game Of Silence already had been picked up for a 10-episode run back in May. Heartbreaker, originally slated for fall, had to be pushed to midseason because of star Melissa George’s pregnancy. The series filmed 5 episodes before taking a break for George to have her baby and is scheduled to resume production in January. The show could conceivably make fewer episodes then depending on NBC’s needs. The network already gave one fall drama, Blindspot, a Back 9 order, and there are high expectations for the latest entry in the Chicago franchise, Chicago Med, whose premiere was moved up from midseason to late fall because of Heartbreaker‘s delay.
