And the Next Cancelled Show is...

That's too bad. I don't think Netflix was really designed to properly promote his type of show, but I enjoyed it while it lasted.
I'm actually surprised it didn't fare well enough by Netflix standards. It had a strong social media presence and I know plenty of people who watched and loved the show. I'm saying this with the ignorance of how the industry works, but I would've thought the At Home version of the show last season would've been cheaper that the previous seasons. No stage and audience, but Hasan had a green screen, albeit it with less flashy graphics as before.

Drunk History has been canceled due to Covid-19.
Yes and no. Yes, Drunk History has been cancelled even though it was renewed for another season, Due to COVID? Well, no, not the reason. Comedy Central is in the midst of a major overhaul, moving to animated fare.

Tosh.0 had also been cancelled after initially receiving a 4 year renewal. Another casualty of the major overhaul. It is said that Tosh.0 is going to be shopped elsewhere by Daniel Tosh and ViacomCBS.

Penny Dreadful 2: The Legend of Curly's Gold has been canceled.

Netflix cancels The Society and I am Not Okay With This after originally renewing them, which means no season 2 for either.

Very sad about that one. I loved the first season of PD, but with all the other damn streaming services I have, I just couldn’t justify getting yet another (lesser used) premium channel just to watch this. I suspect this may have been why it failed, too many people experiencing streaming burnout in this modern age of cord-cutting. Who has Showtime anymore anyway?

Showtime has some good shows on it though some of them are ending. Black Friday, How to become a God in Central Florida .

The second season was no good so I think that is okay. I would have been game though to see who the new lead would have been for season 3.

I really loved the mythology and science fiction of the series, but I was less interested in Kovacs and his shit. But give me a spin-off with Poe and I'll watch every day!

I actually enjoyed the second season more because of the revelations that came out. It probably helps that I find Anthony Mackie infinitely more appealing and charismatic than Joel "Scowl All Day" Kinnaman.

Yeah, the first season was really great, but it took a nosedive with the second season. Everything that made it great in season 1 seemed to be gone, and it felt more generic. Perhaps it was for the best.

The first season felt like the average detective story grafted onto a sci fi premise. However, it was incredible at world building.

Season two was straight forward and the world building was poor.

I'm Sorry.

Great show.

Goes too far, all the time.

Love it.

Good bye.

Netflix cancels a couple freshman sitcoms, The Big Show Show and Ashley Garcia: Genius in Love. They both have standalone Christmas episodes which will air this December.

Something called 68 Whiskey was cancelled by the Paramount Network after one season. Apparently they have other scripted shows besides Yellowstone.
