And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Not for nothing, but if I were a show creator/runner, and had any negotiating rights in today's day and age, I would opt for a clause that allowed me to continue the concept in another medium. I think PoE would make for a good comic book, for instance.
That and/or the option to shop the show around to another network, especially in this day and age where other networks (or at least streaming companies) are picking up canceled shows.

In that case, the search on this forum is crap! I miss the previous iteration of this forum's search, that was damned good. Ah, well.
The search is case sensitive.

Which means that you have to search at least twice sometimes.
I'm certain it's not case sensitive, but it is fickle about commonly used words such as "of" and then decides there aren't any posts with your search terms.

Well, if I were in the TV business today, the option to shop the show to another network would be a given. The problem with that is the record of shows that were revived is spotty, at best.

I'm not sure where people get the idea that TV shows can't shop them to another network, they can, they can do that for the last several decades. The studio that made the show owns it and can do whatever they want with the shows, just no one wants 99.9% of shows on the air.

AMC cancels Comic Book Men!

There's already a #SaveComicBookMen campaign going, with even Funko throwing in their support. And considering the show is probably pretty cheap to produce and has a very loyal following, there's some hope for it to get picked up somewhere else.

I can see You Tube Red (Jesus whomever named that needs to be fired) picking it up.

Yeah. No kidding.

"Dad, I want to sign-up for YouTube Red."

"I'm not letting you sign up for a porn site."

"It's not porn, Dad."

"It sounds like porn. Go do your homework."

...

"Honey, we need to talk. I saw that you charged something called "YouTube Red" to our credit card. I booked us for couples therapy."

"It's not porn, sweetie. That's just the name of their service."

"I really don't want to know the details of your quote unquote "service." Our appointment is at 2:00pm tomorrow."

In a surprise to no one Ghosted has been canceled.

And in a move 20 years too late Showtime is picking up a show based on the video game franchise Halo.
