And the Next Cancelled Show is...

And Fox is gonna pony up money for another season of this crap starring a pair of dicks yet used a demon blade on Lucifer?

Well they fired one of the dicks, so maybe that will solve the issue. Fox isn't making the show, WB is. But only picked it up for 13 episodes.

But yeah I would have kept Lucifer. Makes no sense when Fox Network in a couple years will have very few scripted shows.

Lethal Weapon is so much wasted potential. When I first heard about it, I thought to myself "Oh, Christ, not another one." But I actually found it to be a pleasant surprise. They nailed everything that made the original film great ... except the casting. It's too bad because Rahm, Brewster, and Mitchenor are all really great. But the two leads are terrible, which is too bad because I used to really like Damon Wayans. He was the only one of the bunch besides KIW I had any time for.

I agree with you. I don't think Damon Wayans is terrible or anything, but Crawford, the guy who got fired made the show unwatchable. However the rest of the show is actually really good, like you said they got the feel right but the casting was a failure. I'm hoping the new guy they add can somewhat fix it.

Rumour is Gotham is only getting 10 episodes for it's final season. Fox couldn't have ordered 13 for Lucifer to see how it does?

This may only be relevant to Canadians, but I tuned into Daily Planet on the Discovery channel last night only to discover that it has been cancelled and last night's show was the last episode. :(

It had been running since 1995. My daughter and I were extremely disappointed.

Wow, I had no idea. I do remember when the show was called @Discovery.ca before it transitioned to being called Daily Planet, and there was a time they weren't even allowed to use the Discovery brand and were just calling themselves EXN (Exploration Network). I'm not entirely surprised though. I felt that over the years, the science content had gone down in favour of trending stories that were less interesting. And when Jay Ingram left the show, I started watching less and less of it.

Still, there's something to be said about having had a science program having lasted so long. I more or less considered it a spiritual successor to PBS's Adam's Apple.

People of Earth has been canceled after it was already renewed (and written), no season 3.

When you say written do you mean they just wrote a bunch of scripts and it was cancelled before they filmed them? Why in the world would they do that?
