OK, curiosity got the better of me, and I'm watching it now. I'm surprised Torchwood is popular enough to get a nod in a primetime network show.
A show doesn't have to be popular to be good.
It just has to seduce one "writer" who is already in the business and surrounded by the genre to one degree or another?
I think it was odd that three years on, that Claire is still thought of as that Cheerleader who saved the world. Surely the show has progressed past first principles in the public consciousness?
