With the launch of the final game in the Batman: Arkham series yesterday we have finally gotten the answer to one of the major questions since it was announced. I couldn't get the spoiler code to work so this is your final warning....

Really this is the last warning...

Ok here it is...

In the game it was revealed that Jason Todd is really the Arkham Knight.
My question is do you think that the comics may be updated in the future making this character into the Arkham Knight?

It was stated that the character was created specifically for the game and i don't think the games had any influence on the comics, like the portrayal of existing characters, like the Joker's backstory from Origins...
When i read who the Arkham Knight was i wasn't that surprised though, considering his other alter-ego...

That is true. Though they have incorporated things from the other franchises before. I.E. Harley Quinn.

It kinda wasn't really a surprise that it was Jason Todd as the Arkham Knight. The costume is really similar to his design in the Battle for the Cowl storyline.

Its kind of obvious considering they included flashbacks showing the Arkhamverse version of A Death in the Family.

That too...

I had thought about that particular character being Arkham Knight way back when the game was announced, but they assured the fans that it would be an entirely new person.

So, nobody who was involved with STID was involved with this game :vulcan:
Because it is similar to the whole John Harrison/Kahn thing...

^ Pretty much. In early development they insisted that the Arkham Knight was an entirely new character. They even said, at one point, we may not have learned his true identity.
