I do wear glasses on a regular basis, and while I do get some glare it never takes up almost the entirety of my vision. Then again, I've never been on the bridge of the Enterprise, maybe it's just that bright.How? Lens flares are not a natural thing, they are an artificial effect created by light shining on the lens of a camera. If you look around on a sunny day, or you enter a room with a lot of bright lights, your eyes will not see a lens flare.
If you're somebody who wears glasses, that's not entirely true.
