Warning: Extreme nitpicking and anal-retentiveness ahead.

On the dvd's, if you skip to the second chapter (i.e after the credits) it's at the fade-out, but the last second or so of the instrument used after Voyager goes to warp ("created by" credits) can be heard, so it's not a true fade-out. I'm sure they could have cut it a few tenths of a second later, but overlooked it somehow.

When I recorded ds9 and Voyager to vhs tape, removing the opening credits was crucial to fitting four complete episodes and then an episode of Family guy or That seventies show on to one 3 hours tape.

Different worlds buddy.
