Am I the only one here who watched "You Don't Mess with the Zohan?"

I personally thought that it was the funniest Adam Sandler film that I have seen in years. And, I am not even an Adam Sandler fan.

I especially liked the fact that the entire film was a spoof, and allowed Sandler to sendup his own Jewish background/culture. Poking fun at the rich, Mel Gibson, dumb white racists, America's post-9/11 environment, male hairstylists, action films, etc.

From those who have seen it, what did you guys think of it?

Daughter say it, very wisely went without me.

She enjoyed it, not terribly enthusiastic but thought it was okay for what it was.

I thought the film petered out when Mariah Carey showed up, but it was still very funny. I find myself longing for a fizzy boboli.

I charitably gave it one out of four. But only because Sandler (or whomever) hired a number of classic comics and it's very nice of him to give them work.

The film? TSC (Typical Sandler Crap).

Sandler's "best" work is when he neither produces nor co-writes the script. When OTHERS are in charge, he's downright almost passable.

The trailer was mildly amusing, but I'm not in a rush to see the film. I imagine it just won't work in a full length, feature format, and the poor reviews aren't adding to my lack of motivation.

I look forward to New Adam Sandler movies less and less each time. This movie made me wish I had seen the Kung Fu Panda instead. But it's still not as bad as Deuce Bigalow european Gigolo.

A lot of the new age comedians are like this. Ferrell and Meyers come to mind almost immediately.

I saw it. I thought it was a fun matinee movie, but I wasn't just totally knocked out by it. I probably won't watch it again, but it was worth seeing once.

Why, why, why did I go see this? It was terrible. I thought the fact Judd Apatow had something to do with the script would give it a chance, and that gave me hope...but it was such a horribly terrible movie.

First time since Die Another Day I almost fell asleep in the theater. Just God awful.
