Am I the only one here who watched "You Don't Mess with the Zohan?"

Re: Am I the only one here who watched "You Don't Mess with the Zohan?

^^^
The unfortunate thing is that Zohan will make $100m and be seen as a success.
Luckily Love Guru(Mike Myers) is tanking so we will not be subjected to any sequels of that.

I liked it, its nice to see a film that dosnt take itself too seriously, and the George Takie scene was worth the price of admission in itself.

It's out? I didn't know it had been release here yet.

Its not, I kind of saw it by "other" means.

So you saw Zohan and got ridiculed for doing so, right? Even if you didn't love it you thought "Come on there is worse, why the animosity for Zohan?"

Today your vindicated.

You Don't Mess With the Zohan crossed the $100M mark this past weekend.

Making this Adam Sandlers 9th movie to cross that barrier and for comedies that mark still holds more promienance than it does for sci-fi/fantasy/action films.

When he hits #10 he'll be eligible to start being mentioned in the same breath as Eddie Murphy, Harrison Ford, Tom Hanks and Tom Cruise as actors in a unique category of 10 or more films to make $100m+
Adam Sandler on the verge of being one of the big men about town.
Who knew?

I saw it a few days ago, it was kinda cheesy, but I liked it. At least there was laughs all the way though, and it wasn't all stuff from the trailer.

I can happily say I have not seen Zohan or Love Guru.

I harbor a cold dread that I might actually be in Love Guru, though. They were fiming crowd shots for the thing at a Penguins game I was at last season. Thankfully, I can say with some level of certainty that I am not to be found in any Adam Sandler movies.

The movie took 3 months to scrape up $100 million. I doubt it counts as a very big feather in anyone's cap!

I thought it was okay, certainly wasn't his best work. It did have its moments. The cameos were just pointless though.
