Alternate vs.original timeline

If you were in the Star Trek universe (any race, any occupation), would you prefer living in the unaltered timeline seen in all of the TV series and the first ten movies or the Nero-spawned incursion timeline seen in Star Trek XI?

It's too soon to really make a fair comparison. We've seen 2 hours of Abrams Trek and hundreds of hours of prime Trek.

If I were human or allied and quite possible Klingon, probably prime. For enemies, probably but not certainly the Federation will be weaker.

Yeah, very likely Worf made into the Abram's NuTrek altertnate timeline in one of the many universe jumps he made in that episode.

If Spock lives long enough to see Data and Geordi, perhaps they could reconstruct the universe leaping phenomenon, cause I think it was triggered by Geordi's visor. Spock Prime could then go home, or maybey an old Nu Spock could go to the prime universe.

Having to put up with lens-flare 24 hours a day would probably give me a tumour. Although they could probably cure that with a hypo-spray by then.

I'd go to the prime universe, kill Bashir and take his place before he goes to DS9. That way Garak would come over and talk to me.

I'd go to the twenty-second century. Since Enterprise exists in both timelines, I'm good either way.

Well I like both timelines so it would be hard to choose. I guess as long its during the era of Kirk & Spock which is both prime and alternate. So thats where I be as TOS and new version of the crew are both my favorites, and not to metion the best crew there is!
