I'm revising an original novelette I plan to submit to a magazine soon, and considering writing a short story for an anthology that's open this month, though I'm not sure I can come up with something that quickly. Those projects have required me to postpone another original story I've been planning to get started on. I've also been giving some thought to coming up with an outline for a new spec novel, a concept I've been stalled on for a while now but that may finally be showing some progress. Generally, though, I'm kind of between projects at the moment.
As far as stuff I already wrote, this month's Analog Science Fiction and Fact will feature my new SF comedy story "Hubpoint of No Return," the fourth story in my Hub series. Hub Space: Tales from the Greater Galaxy, the e-book collection reprinting and expanding the first three Hub stories, has recently become available in trade paperback as well. And my collection Among the Wild Cybers, reprinting nearly all the rest of my published original short fiction and featuring the brand-new story "Aspiring to Be Angels" (a prequel to my novel Only Superhuman), should be out later this year.
