I liked that they stood out, visually and presumably culturally, from the norm on Tatooine [checks notes on various forms of real-world teenage rebellion, counter-cultural signals, and behaviour…]

Sometimes, SW needs something slightly unexpected, while conversely being entirely appropriate.

Confession: as a long-time collector of both Kenner (now-Hasbro) 3 3/4 inch action figure line(s), I would absolutely love to see the Mod gang realised in all their teenage plastic glory - replete with their brightly coloured and modded speeders!

They haven't gotten figures? They seem like exactly the kind of characters that would be perfect for action figures.

Nowadays with the larger Lucasfilm license fees to make figures they won't happen short of a Haslab crowdfund with the scooters. 15-20 years ago we'd already have some or even all of them, but with manufacturing and license costs since the Disney buyout and the COVID economy the chances of seeing the Mods in 3.75" (much less 6") action figure format are extremely slim.

@JD - unfortunately not a figure to be seen - and as @cooleddie74 mentioned, chances are indeed slim to none, under the current climate of Hasbro stewardship.

I didn't realize they were getting that much stricter with the figures, I thought they were still making figures out of pretty much character down to the background aliens who were only visible for 2 seconds.

the star wars sequel trilogy may have been box office hits

but i still remember there was alot of controversies about the movies in the sequel trilogys

In 2010 we got Willrow Hood(Ice Cream Maker Guy) in 3.75". We still haven't gotten younger Owen and Beru from Obi-Wan Kenobi in either 3.75-inch or 6," and both were significant supporting characters in that series.
