All-Star Crew From ALL Series??

3.a. Second Officer/OPS: ___________________

5. Pilot/CON: ___________________
6. Chief Engineer: ___________________
7. Doctor: ___________________

Ideas? Please list yours and share a little bit why. I have a "Girls vs. Guys" question/poll. Who can best align the command structure and why?

Mine is:
Janeway
Troi
T'Pal also as OPS
Yar
Torres and Sito Jaxa (the young Bajoran girl with blonde hair from TNG Lower Decks and The First Duty)
Seven of Nine (with help from Torres if Ensign Jaxa handles well enough on the bridge by herself)
Polaski (Sorry Crusher)
Bonuses: Ensign Robin Lefler (Ashley Judd) and Hoshi

Yes! I do think Troi is a good fit because of all of her experience on the bridge and her performance on The Face of The Enemy and even Disaster. She passed the Bridge Officer's exam in Season 7.

Questions:

1. Should T'Pal or someone else be the First Officer?
2. Could you switch Seven and Torres? Torres in engineering and Seven and Jaxa on the bridge?

1. Captain: __Kathryn Janeway_________________
2. First Officer: __Tuvok_________________
3.a. Second Officer/OPS: _T'Pol__________________
3.b. OPS: __Jadzia Dax / Seven of Nine_________________
4. Tactical/Security: ___Ro Laren________________
5. Pilot/CON: __Tom Paris_________________
6. Chief Engineer: __Miles O'Brien_________________
7. Doctor: ___Kate Pulaski_and The Doctor for the night shift___

I know, I know, there are a lot of women but hey, they get a quite temper! And I let you imagine Tuvok, O'Brien and the Doctor trying to calm them down in case of disagreement, especially Janeway-Seven and Pulaski...! :guffaw:

1. Captain: Janeway
2. First Officer: Spock
3.a. Second Officer/OPS: Data
3.b. OPS: Seven of Nine
4. Tactical/Security: Tuvok
5. Pilot/CON: Sulu
6. Chief Engineer: O'Brien
7. Doctor: EMH Doctor

1. Janeway - This was tough. Whereas Kirk had the reputation for being unbeatable, I initially leaned towards Picard as the sort of professional, realistic captain. Yet I plump for Jane way because she has the instinct of Kirk and the diplomacy of Picard, but she also possesses the loyalty and Humanity of Sisko and Archer. She genuinely cares for her crew and is like a mother towards them.

2. Spock - While I have a fondness for Riker and like T'Pol's manner, I can't look beyond Spock. His insights proved invaluable to Kirk and company, his logic and intellect saving the day on numerous occasions.

3a. Data - It was touch and go if I would include Data alongside Spock and Seven of Nine, but how could I leave our professor of humanity out? Like Spock his contribution is undeniable and you couldn't ask for a cooler head in a crisis.

3b. Seven of Nine - Borg. Need we go any further? Scientific mind, efficient and with an attitude which makes me smile, her place is assured.

4. Tuvok - I was tempted to go with Worf, as I'd already chose Spock, Data and Seven,, but once I had gone for Janeway I couldn't leave out her most trusted advisor and mentor. Kirk without Spock is just the same.

5. Sulu - Paris is probably a better pilot, but Mr Sulu is Mr Dependable. Kirk would often leave Sulu in command and you could see, in the series, that Sulu was learning from Kirk, admiring his skill and so it was no surprise when he became captain of the Excelsior. As Kirk said in Generations "It wouldn't be the Enterprise without a Sulu at the helm" High praise indeed from a legend.

6. O'Brien - Why not Scott or La Forge? Hard to overlook either of the engineering geniuses, but O'Brien demonstrates his abilities countless times, in DS9 as well as TNG, but what wins it for me is that with his wife and children and not being an officer he comes over as a down to earth person and is more believable as a result.

7. EMH - No contest, for me. His early episodes, befriending Kes and becoming part of the crew were touching and when his holographic daughter died I cried my eyes out. Becoming Seven's teacher was very funny and they shared great screen chemistry together. As a doctor, with an incredible database of medical knowledge to call on and zero nerves in the most challenging circumstances, he's the perfect choice.

I suspect one of the mods might move this thread as it's more of a General Trek question

CO - Kirk or Picard
XO - Spock
CEO - Scotty
CMO - EMH
Tacital - Worf
Security - Reed
Science - Data
Pilot - Sulu

CO - Kira Nerys - She is one seriously tough cookie, more than deserving of her own ship
XO - Charles Tucker III - He's a natural charmer and a likeable fellow
CEO - B'Elanna Torres - Inventive, intelligent, and doesn't pad her estimates
CMO - Beverly Crusher - A solid and dependable physician
Tactical - Tuvok - Applies calculated logic to tactical combat, definitely a needed quality
Security - Odo - Trek's best detective
Ops - Data - He's an android, need I say more?
Science - Jadzia Dax - She's a scientist with the heart of an adventurer
Conn - Hikaru Sulu - He can fly anything
Counsellor - Kes - With great power comes great responsibility

I've tried.
I've really tried but it's difficult for me to come up with an All Star Crew where 95% of the characters aren't from Voyager.
Absolutely agreed. The only person I would change would be Harry Kim. I'd have Jadzia Dax instead. But everyone else would remain (Kes could double as the local Deanna Troi.) Seven would stay in her place in the Astrometrics lab.

1. Captain: Benjamin Sisko
2. First Officer: Kira Nerys
3. Science Officer: Spock
4. Tactical/Security: Tuvok
5. Pilot/CON: Sulu
6. Chief Engineer: Miles O'Brien
7. Doctor: The Doctor

1. Captain: Sisko/Picard
2. First Officer: Sisko/Picard
These 2 are interchangeable. In times of peace, Picard at Captain and Sisko as first Officer. In times of war, Sisko at Captain and Picard at 1st Officer.

3. a. Second Officer: Data
One of the best computers in the quadrant
b. OPS: Seven of 9
The knowledge of the Borg at your finger tips and nanoprobes to fix all of lifes little problems.

4. Tactical: Tuvok
Cold calculating vulcan handling weapons. Mind Meld is also an ability that is very useful.
Security: Odo
Best investigator and would be indispensable on away machines.

5. Pilot/CON: Tom Paris
One of the best pilots in star fleet, it was Albert's fault. Only person to hit Warp 10.

6. Chief Engineer: Geordi
The king of technobabble. You don't understand the solution, but he does. A close second is Bleana Torres, but Geordi gets it because the visor provides more information to solving problems.

7. Doctor: The Doctor
With the emitter, he's almost invincible. ECH if needed.

Would also like to have KES onboard as she has the best "Special abilities" out of anyone.

1. Captain: Benjamin Sisko. Solid commanding officer, good cook. Understands people are flawed, but does expect the best they can give.
2. First Officer: Spock. I think that with a emotional man like Bennie, Spock's logic is a good balance
3. Second Officer/OPS: Data. The man is just amazing with resource allocation, which I always understood what OPS is.
4. Science officer: Jadzia Dax. Intelligent af, but also with lifetimes of experience and insights.
5. Tactical/Security: Kira Nerys. Do I need to explain this? The woman understood tactics like non other.
6. Pilot/CON: Tom Paris all the way.
7. Chief Engineer: Miles O'Brien or B'Ellana Torres. Both understand how to make things work outside the standard paramaters.
8. Doctor: Julian Bashir. Say what you want, that genetic engineered brain simply knows so much.

1. Captain: Benjamin Sisko
2. First Officer: Spock
3.a. Second Officer/OPS:Data
3.b. OPS:Pavel Checkov
4. Tactical/Security: Worf
5. Pilot/CON: Tom Paris
6. Chief Engineer: Geordi Laforge
7. Doctor: Dr. Leonard McCoy

Lets see....

1. Captain: Sisko
2. First Officer: Seven
3. Science Officer: Data
4. Tactical/Security: Odo
5. Pilot/CON: Paris
6. Chief Engineer: LaForge
7. Doctor: The Doctor

Well, I'd always tought that sometime could we have an tv movie with a mixed crew picked up to fought an external treat. But that is another idea....

Except for Kes I absolutely agree. I would pick all Voyager people

I'm going to limit my selections to those I think would be appropriate for a story taking place a few years after Nemesis:

USS Yorktown
1. Captain: Captain Elizabeth Shelby
2. First Officer: Commander Harry Kim
3.a. Science Officer: Admiral Kathryn Janeway (onboard to command the mission the ship is being diverted to from its shakedown cruise, choosing to sit at and operate the science console on the bridge because it's her first love and because no department head for science has been assigned yet)
3.b. OPS: Ensign Lal (along with scan records of Data and Lore, an examination of B4 turned out to be the key that allowed Geordi LaForge to restore Lal to functionality.)
4. Tactical/Security: Admiral Naraht (no permanent tactical/security officer has been assigned yet - the ship's shakedown wasn't supposed to take it any place dangerous, and Ensign Frank Lassiter - new character played by Josh Hutcherson - was filling the role but has stepped aside for Naraht, who came aboard with Janeway. If it comes to it - and it will ;) - Naraht will have Lassiter stay at tactical while he deals with security matters).
5. Pilot/CON: Lt. Cmdr Prynn Tenmei
6. Chief Engineer: Captain Montgomery Scott (the ship is still in shakedown, Lt. Cmdr. Robin Lefler is assisting and is expected to be Chief Engineer once shakedown is over)
7. Doctor: Phlox (Denobulans live a looong time)

So, USS Triumphant, you want that 2 Admirals and 1 capitain, besides the one (Shelby) in position, live together on board?!
And who is decision-making in the final? Shelby, the capitain who leads the vessel, Janeway who led the mission, or Naraht?
Big discussions in perspective before each decision be taken and a lot of coffee/tea in ready/conference rooms!

In my mind, Naraht was never a command officer, strictly a security department specialist, and Scotty would be focused on his engines, where he *is* in command. Janeway showed in "Endgame" that she knows how to respect who the actual captain of the ship is - she would be the mission commander, not take over command of the ship itself. If there would be any friction, it might be that Shelby would get uppity in discussion about thinking she is right and Janeway isn't regarding some matter of the mission, rather than about her own command. But I doubt it would amount to much - she and Janeway are actually very similar in having a background of being an Admiral's "pet officer" - and ultimately she respects the chain of command, too.

Alright. Thank you for the explanation. :)

I decided to take the best from EACH series.

Captain - Benjamin Sisko. My favorite captain. He was an excellent leader, great tactician, was not afraid to show his emotions, and is not afraid to be the villain when necessary. He was also a great delegator, and read people and situations really well.

XO - Spock. Excellent XO for Kirk, and I think he would be a perfect fit for Sisko. His logic will balance Sisko with his emotions worn on his sleeve.

Tactical Officer - Tuvok. Logical tactician and the calmest Security Chief ever.

Security Chief - Odo. Best investigator around.

OPS - Data. Obvious choice.

Communications Officer - Hoshi Sato. Her ear will come in handy in times of UT failure.

CONN/Pilot - Tom Paris. Best pilot one can ask for.

Science Officer - Jadzia Dax. Multiple lifetimes of experience to draw on, and already a seasoned scientist.

Chief Engineer - Miles O'Brien. This was tough, but he was the best engineer for one reason... he got DS9, a Cardassian station, to function in tandem with Starfleet technology. He also was the repairman for many ships docked at DS9, meaning he has the widest experience of different technologies from different species.

CMO - Julian Bashir/EMH. I can't decide between the two, so I pick both. And combine their talents? We have the entirety of Starfleet Medical right here.

Captain - Kathryn Janeway
XO - Spock
Tactical Officer - .Seven of Nine
Security Chief - Odo
OPS - Tuvok.
Communications Officer - Nyota Uhura
CONN/Pilot - Tom Paris.
Science Officer - Jadzia Dax
Chief Engineer - Miles O'Brien or B'Elena Torres.
CMO : a real LIVING BEING and not a hologram, robot or whatever ANYMORE
