All previous Trek series on one network!

By the way, extrapolating from the episode listings, the Sun-Fri airing schedule and the episodes airing in order so far (except one minor VOY hiccup), seems tonight's VOY episode will be the widely derided S2E15 "Threshold." Is this one really as bad as I've read people say it is?
Even its script writer, Brannon Braga, called it "a terrible episode" and "a royal, steaming stinker" in the DVD commentary. Some fans have even nominated it as the worst Trek episode ever.

Huh, Braga must've really disliked it. Wonder who came up with the pitch for the episode?
The original pitch for the story came from Michael De Luca, but after the VOY writing staff started adding their own ideas into the mix, the actual script for the episode wound up being written (and rewritten a few times) by Braga who has since called it an episode he'd like to forget.

This Sunday, 4 September, they're playing Trek documentaries starting around 1pm, leading up to the premiere of TAS! One of the documentaries being shown is one I haven't seen before, Leonard Nimoy's Star Trek Memories!

I love what H&I has done with Trek. I really do!

I just discovered this thread...in time to discover that Time Warner Cable does not seem to carry this channel in Los Angeles. :wah:

TAS is airing on H&I as I type this, so I've changed the thread title in the event that this thread sees further action.

This is cool. Guinan just referenced every fiber in her being.

"Not good enough damnit, not good enough!"

Ch 242 on Comcast here in Browns Mills, NJ. :)

H&I is adjusting their weeknight schedule starting this Monday...the Trek shows will now air in a solid block starting at 8 with TOS, much as they've already been doing on Sundays (minus TAS). They'll be preceded by Hercules and Xena at 6 and 7, and followed by a couple of cop shows in the wee hours. (All times EST.)

H&I is doing documentary-centricTrek programming this Sunday afternoon (Aug. 6) prior to and after their usual All Star Trek block.

12 p.m.: Star Trek 25th Anniversary
2 p.m.: Star Trek: Beyond the Final Frontier
4 p.m.: Leonard Nimoy: Star Trek Memories
5 p.m.: Star Trek: A Captain's Log
6 p.m.: "The Cage"
[All Star Trek block]
1 a.m.: Ultimate Star Trek: Star Trek's Greatest Moments
2 a.m.: Journey's End: The Saga of Star Trek

(All times EST.)

Regularly scheduled programming resumes at 3 a.m. with Twelve O'Clock High, which, currently being in first season, stars Robert Lansing and Frank Overton.

Thank you for posting this! I love when they do this. It's kind of a way to celebrate Trek since I wasn't able to go to Comic Con or the Las Vegas one this weekend!

N.P. They're calling it Trektacular Sunday, FWIW.

ETA: And it looks like sister network Decades is going to be playing some of the same programming on Aug. 15.

Saw the ad last night for the Sunday programming, and I did not realize that H&I had never played "The Cage" before!
