Dad joke from Bad Dad jokes on Twitter.

Cats. They are cunning. They will be humanity's ultimate downfall if we don't stay alert.

I've been wondering... What if cats and dogs are hyperintelligent beings from another universe fighting over who gets to own the most rare source of intelligence in this one: humans!

^Well, there's the 'ninja' ways of the cats... and then; what if the whole 'body' of a dog is merely camouflage...

I've always enjoyed that video, because it reminds me of a similar game I play with my cat Lily.

If she's looking at me intently from across the room, like she wants something (which happens a lot) I'll sometimes point at her and start twirling my hand around in circles while keeping it pointed in her direction.

As soon as I do that, she'll start calmly and quietly stalking my hand, moving low to the ground and hiding behind furniture and next the the wall.

But as soon as I stop twirling my hand and hold it up vertically in a "STOP" position, she'll freeze in place and hold that pose as long as I keep my hand like that. I mean, once when I was testing her patience, she held still for a few minutes before finally getting bored and walking off like I had disappointed her.

So, she'll keep doing that stalk, stop, stare, stalk, stop, stare thing however many times it takes to cross the distance of the room to me, and then when she gets to me she just looks up and "meows" like she's saying "Yeah, what now?" I usually pet her and give her a couple treats and then she goes on her way, satisfied.

It's silly, but it always makes me laugh.

Nothing silly about it. I've had cats almost my entire life and I have a variety of little games I frequently play with them to keep them engaged and both sides very entertained. Cats are so much more intelligent and quick-witted than many people ever give them credit for.
