Yeah, same here. When I was growing up our cats had a nasty habit of chewing on pretty much anything on a Christmas tree that shines or reflects light and we had to go through a litany of different tricks to get them to stop. The old-school silver Christmas tinsel was the worst, but we saw 'em trying to gnaw on the electric lights a few times.
Good thing humans don't do that. Well, sober, anyways.
