My first attempt at inventing one of these. I can't be the only one who has this problem. I ended up going to glass containers because I kept having to replace the tupperware ones ...

I've always used glass! -Not only is it microwave safe it's also easily cleaned (and dishwasher safe) and it's dirt-cheap in second-hand shops! (would you eat something that's been stored in second-hand plastic?)

:guffaw: so true! - it's more of a car-boot/flea-market thing I guess...

Also (tinfoil hat time) heating things up in plastic can release toxins into your food. I'm guilty of it from time to time, but I do try to make an effort to remove leftovers and such from the plastic before heating things up in the microwave.
 
That dude from Baywatch, currently on Celebrity Rehab, believes toxins from plastic water bottles cause bisexuality.
