All Good Things Reshoot

Actors would never agree to this. People don't like to be reminded of how they've aged, much less actors that live in a business based on appearances.

Yeah. That kind of thing would never happen in Star Trek or any of it's actors.

McCoy: Get back your command. Get it back before you become a part of this collection. Before you really do grow old.

Kirk: My life that could have been, ...and wasn't. And what am I feeling? ...Old. ...Worn out.

Spock: Is it possible ...that we two, you and I, have grown so old and so inflexible ...that we have outlived our usefulness? ...Would that constitute a joke?

McCoy: What about my age?
Data: Sorry, sir. If that subject troubles you
McCoy: Troubles me? What's so damned troubling about not having died? How old do you think I am anyway?
Data: 137 years sir, according to Starfleet records.

Or, you know. The episode "All Good Things" where the actors are not only reminded of their age, but try to act around it.

That isn't the same thing at all, those examples are about the characters aging, not the actors. This would be a project solely based on the actors real life age, reinserted solely so people can compare it to their young selves. Good luck getting them to do that.

I'd totally be behind some kind of TV special that involved actors from TNG, DS9 and Voyager reprising their roles for a new adventure.

Reshooting AGT with how the actors appear now might be kinda sorta neat, but not nearly enough so to justify spending the resources to do it.

de Lancie and Spiner have aged. More importantly, Sirtis wouldn't get to be part of the project, and if you're not going to get everyone together for the reunion, what's the point?

If perhaps All Good Things had been a shitty episode, I could almost see the creative justification for it, but as it is, AGT is one of the (if not THE) best episodes of the series and not needing of any meddling, adjusting, updating, or "correcting."

Well, there's currently no limit to the ability to digitally insert new shots of a single actor into existing footage (like current Stewart replaced into original footage with DeLancie). So it's certainly possible. But I really don't care to see it done. The episode was fine.

The only limit is the cost, which would be exhoribitantly prohibitive given what some people are suggesting.

Yeah, if they cast were to reunite, I'd rather see a new story instead of a rehash of what was already awesome twenty years ago.

They use kickstarter for everything else these days. Why not let the fans put their money where their mouths are, so to speak, and see if the actors are up for it?

Personally, I'd rather see William Moseley, Anna Popplewell, Skandar Keynes, and Georgie Henley do a reshoot of the final Narnia sequence from "The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe", just to see how their adult selves would compare to the other adult cast for Peter, Susan, Edmund and Lucy. Sort of a 'compare and contrast'. But I know that won't ever happen either.
