Thanks jarren from gallifreybase.com for posting this.

A ONE-off special of Doctor Who is set to bring all 11 incarnations of the Time Lord together for the first time, UK's Mirror newspaper reports.

The episode will see new Doctor Matt Smith, 26, make his debut, joining David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston and old favourites including Tom Baker, Peter Davison and Sylvester McCoy.

The 15-minute show, which starts filming in September, will be shown in November as part of BBC1’s Children in Need appeal.

The stars have waived their fees for the show, in which the 10th doctor, played by Tennant, gets some help from the others to carry out a mission.

The three dead Dr Who actors – William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee and Patrick Troughton – will be included by using images from their original shows, stretching from 1966 to 1974.

I think this is too soon, or just dont have Matt in it. Plus coming from the mirror its proabably as true as Donna regenerating into Karen Gillian.

I don't! You don't rush all 11 Doctors into 15-minutes! That's an insult. I want at least a two-parter seasonal episode for The 11 Doctors.

Now, if its just a little "Hey, how are you?" cameo bits for each, okay I guess. I don't know. I guess I'd have to see what they're doing. Can't judge it before it's made.

That is, if it were even true... ;)

Hey, I'll take whatever I can get! "Time Crash" was bloody brilliant and it was less than 10 minutes long!

What on earth is the point of smith showing up before Tennant regenerates? And if the 11th doctor can show up, why not the 12th or the 13th?

Maybe it's actually that all the actors are getting togeather to do a song and dance routine

Utter bollocks. The words "Matt Smith" pretty much prove it - though I *could* see CiN getting all the surviving Doctor *actors* into a line-up to read out the donation number.

Or indeed, I could see them airing Waters Of Mars as part of the show, like they did with The Five Doctors back in '83.

Oh, and we already saw all the previous Doctors onscreen in nuWho, in The Next Doctor - which actually kind of fits with that "news" report. They're predicting something that happened a year earlier!

the article's in today's paper and says that David and Billie filmed a special in Barcalona before...

um, no...

idiots.

Q: How stupid does a person have to be to confuse a story which talks about visiting a planet called Barcelona with actually shooting an episode in Barcelona the city?

A: Stupid enough to work for a Tabloid "newspaper".

As bogus as the story might be, for the first few seconds I believed it. And that made me realize how much I miss Cristopher Eccleston. To see him once more as the Doctor, even for a minute, would be heaven.

I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, why can't they make it a regular episode or a special?! It irritates me if they only do multi-Doctor stories in these 15 minute things. Make it a true event episode or special. I was really excited when I saw the thread title, much less so when I read the details. :(

Mr Awe

I suppose maybe if they keep publishing that article, adjusting for the current status quo, one of these days they'll be right? :vulcan:

Law of averages would have to catch up to them eventually.
