Spoilers Alison Pill……..

I'm sorry but in no way should Agnes Jurati be left to be assimilated for life. She clearly didn't want to be turned into a Borg. Just because Agnes was able to talk the Borg Queen into only assimilating terminally ill or damaged people or whatever doesn't change that Agnes herself is in the collective by force and not free will. Everyone should be doing everything they can to save her (especially as Seven's Fenris Rangers aren't bound by Starfleet) and just not let her live centuries of a hellish existence. This literally goes back to First Contact's "It couldn't have been reversed" "How do you know? You didn't even try!" territory.

She accepted it at the end.

Besides, I still don't think she'll be completely gone, just not in Season 3. Her original self (probably minus the memories) on the Stargazer bridge should still be there if the timeline is restored the way it was in Episode 1.

If Santiago Cabrera also exits, that leaves Michelle Hurd, Isa Briones, and Evan Evagora carrying the standard of newly-introduced leads for the final season. And that's assuming Soji even factors in at all. (My guess is she'll have a subplot in one episode.)

Raffi and Elnor sticking around aboard their starship makes sense.

I'm still bitter that we got zero resolution with Narek. I get it, people didn't like the "incest twins," but damn. They literally cut out the scene where he's arrested.

I am hoping Soji at least gets some time with the TNG crew in season 3 - it would be a crying shame for Data's figurative daughter to miss out on the reunion.

If Santiago Cabrera also exits...

I really like Santiago Cabrera and would like to see him roll on into S3, but the writers have seriously damaged his character this season. By his immaturity and selfish actions, he has all but rendered himself unfit to be considered starfleet material, much less command material.

Which, unfortunately, is a common failing in nu-Trek as I have expounded on elsewhere.

You can see him on HBOs Flight Attendant currently. Maybe he took that instead of a 3rd season? Maybe he’s in both?
