What was that? Ugh.. Started off good, ( mostly) but the middle bogged down so hard that it stopped, and the last couple episodes were Meh at best. All in all.. not really good. Would have made a better Blade Runner series.

Now it's over I can finally rate it and I gave it a 9, and yes maybe episode 5 and the terrifying Eye Midge are doing a bit of heavy lifting there, but only a bit.

Nibs lives! Thank God!

I too figure Atom was the synth 'dad' Kavalier created. The eye thing going after Joe was terrifying but it finding its way into Arthur I didn't see (sorry) coming.

So all our main cast are still alive come the finale shot then? Convenient ;)

Hard to know quite where the show goes from here but I'm definitely along for the ride.

I thought this was a great first season. I rewatched it with my wife, and she said she liked the original film because it was "mysterious about the Alien". I said everyone's seen the original Alien for over 40 years. Despite the fact it's called "Alien: Earth", it's clearly about the Lost Boys and their story.

Your point about it being a better Blade Runner series -- it *IS* a Blade Runner series! It's about the synths and their journey to understand their humanity (or lack thereof). Besides, we can figure the Tyrell Corporation was a precursor to the Weyland-Yutani Corporation (or one of the other ones -- or even all of them).

I wonder if the move to London means we'll be moving away from the island then? Or maybe it's jut preproduction they're doing in London and then when filming starts they'll move back to Thailand? I'd hate to see them move all of it to London, filming in Thailand gave it unique look and feel, and I'd hate to see it lose that.

Kinda surprised it was renewed. I think season 2 will be it's last unless it seriously gets back to good storytelling.
If Disney cuts the budget on the sequels, it will last 5 seasons, otherwise they will end it in 2 or 3 seasons.
