His experiments lead to an albino xenomorphs which I liked but the film doesn't have the thrill I had when I saw Prometheus. I was hoping to see the creation of the Alien in the last film of this trilogy while a battle occurs within the Engineers and other aliens weaponized colonies and the humans are stuck in the middle of this galactic dispute. Too many thoughts come to me when thinking about this and what it could have been, but I thought it could've been a nice metaphor about chemical weapons, their effects and a strong tale about chemical warfare or in the mythos case bio-engineering warfare. I believe these Alien stories should be important... but Blomkamp is not the director to take that step forward IMO, and I don't give 2 sh*ts about ancient old people (Sigourney Weaver and Michael Beihn) getting one last glory on a cash grab ala Harrison Ford. I am sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo over it. Get young fresh faces and do something with this concept because despite how old the monster is and it's not scary anymore, I do believe there more tales to tell with updated improvements on the monster.
