Her expression doesn't convey a very convincing sense of fear. But perhaps she really isn't afraid, perhaps she is screaming as a way of simply getting someones attention more quickly that simply shouting.

NO..This is not a complaint thread,I am not asking people to join an anti alice eve site in order to stop her from being in Star Trek.all I said was the scream was bad acting.
Are Trek fans leaving in a bubble? In every film the acting is always talked about.
He's got a point. Her mouth moves but there is no terror whatsoever in her eyes. It's as if she's screaming as part of a screaming contest.
Most of us aren't even staying or living in one.
And you thought that comment was so important that it required a whole new thread to say? You couldn't have just said that in the existing trailer thread? Like, oh I don't know, everyone else who had a comment to make about the trailer?
This is only my second post here and even I know that starting whole threads devoted to individual details of the trailer when there's already an entire thread to discuss the trailer is just poor decorum.
She definitely looks in her eyes as if she knows the person that she is screaming in reaction to.
Maybe she's screaming because Kirk brought his rock penis with him on their date.
That's not actually a rock penis that Kirk was holding. It's a plaster cast of his equipment.

Honestly, it looks like somebody is forcing her to sing against her will. And maybe that's exactly what's going on.
The "scene" in the trailer is out of context and lasts roughly 1 second. There is not even remotely enough information there for me to judge this woman's acting ability.
