That's too bad about Britt. I like him so much more than Dalton--there's just something about him that rubbed me the wrong way, even before the end of season one stuff.

We have our first cast promo image, featuring all of the season one regulars and guest stars BJ Britt as Agent Antoine Triplett, Nick Blood as British S.T.R.I.K.E Agent Lance Hunter, and Henry Simmon as Alphonso "Mac" Mackenzie.

It's also worth noting that Brett Dalton as Grant Ward is included in the image, so they're at least promoting him as a still being a member of the cast.
They also released a picture of the guest cast members discussed in the in the above spoilers.

Since STRIKE performed a different function in the MCU than in the comics, if MCU-Hunter's being depicted as ex-STRIKE...?

All the article with the picture said was that he was an agent of S.T.R.I.K.E., the UK equivalent to S.H.I.E.L.D.

The S.T.R.I.K.E. thing came from IGN's description of the picture. They must have been a mistake on their part.
