This has probably been discussed but I just briefed through the thread and didn't catch it. I thought the blue alien might have been a frost giant after watching Thor but;

I never realized how complicated the marvel universe was until I started to get into the recent movies and AoS.

People decade Skrulls. Fox has the rights to super Skrull, but the regular ones may be shared.

Chitari has less baggage, which is another reason to use them.

However, the Badoon are definitely out.

I guess so for the Skrulls, but then it seems like a waste to me that "Eye Spy" had the Skrull script from the comics alongside a circles and lines diagram.

The bigger waste is missing the Kree-Skrull conflict. Like I said (or, uh, meant to say), it's a debate whether the Skrull are shared. I think they probably are, but it's a close call.

^I assess from all this information that Marvel Studios doesn't have the rights to the Skrulls.

If they made the MCU Chitauri more like the mainstream Skrulls, though, then I find it odd that Ronan the fanatic would be willing to work with Thanos while Thanos uses Chitauri.

^Yeah, but they replaced the Kree-Skrull conflict with a Kree-Xandarian conflict, and it's the Xandarians that Ronan fanatically hated. (And since that was the one and only character trait the film bothered to give Ronan, we have no inkling of how he would've felt toward other species.)

And since Xandar's 616 counterpart was already in the same galaxy as the Skrulls anyway, the Xandarians weren't too far "out of the neighbourhood" for MCU purposes. Also, more evenly matched, I suppose...?

I just checked the map on the back of Annihilation Prologue and I was wrong, Xandar Prime must be in the Skrull galaxy, because the Annihilation Wave hits the Skrull galaxy and then the Kree galaxy.

Why are the Badoon out if they have the rights to Guardians of the Galaxy?

The Badoon first appeared in Silver Surfer vol. 1, #2, so they might be part of the FF/SS rights.

That's my guess. All I know is the Sakaarans were intended to be Badoons.

That is awesome. I was hoping that's where it was leading.

While it probably won't happen, I could see Mar-Vell being introduced in AoS, as a kree agent living on Earth.

I'm wondering if now that the Kree have been introduced in GotG we'll get a bunch of stuff with them on AOS. The dead blue dude did seem very Kree like to me.

If G.H. is really a Kree, though, then I still don't understand why GH-325 has resurrection/regeneration properties. Compatibility with Inhumans? Kree clearly aren't immortal beings or anything.

^Actually Ronan did appear to be superstrong and extremely hard to kill. He was able to withstand the power of the Infinity Stone, after all, something few beings were able to do. And while Nebula is a "Luphomoid" in the comics, considering that she was blue-skinned in the movie, it's possible they simplified matters and intended her to be a Kree too. And she demonstrated the ability to regenerate from severe injury, which may be due to Thanos's augmentations but could be partly a native ability.

And it's always possible that their biochemistry could have a different effect in combination with human biochemistry than it does within their own bodies.

I also don't get the impression that they literally pumped their blood from body to body. I thought it had to be harnessed in some fashion.

Although I pointed out that the Ultimates version, Mahr Vehl (whose full name of Geheneris Hala´son Mahr Vehl, which is a plausible explanation for G.H.) has increased healing ability. That being said, I think it's from a suit rather than naturally occurring.
