Books you have read three times or more
Movies or TV you have watched over and over
The restaurants you frequent most often

Places you like go on holidays etc etc

I read Vernor Vinge's "A Fire Upon the Deep" three or so times.
I rewatched "Speed" (Sandra Bullock and Keanu Reeves (sp?)), the Matrix trilogy, and "Last of the Mohicans" more than a few times.
I replayed Halo I and UFO: Enemy Unknown quite a bit.

The books I have read more than 3 times (and at least twice as an adult) would be

The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien
Alive: The story of the Andes Survivors by Piers Paul Read
The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis
The Wizard of Oz by L Frank Baum
Robbery Under Arms by Rolf Boldrewood
Earth Abides by George R Martin
War of the World by HG Wells
Mythago Wood by Robert Holdstock
Egil's Saga by Anonymous

There are probably some Agatha Christie books I have read three times.

Movies I have watched the most

Monty Python and the Holy Grail (at least 100 times)
Lord of the Rings trilogy
Alive
Harvey
Rear Window (1954)
War of the Worlds (1953)
Little Big Man

I usually don't re-read or re-watch TV shows or movies very often, because most of the joy for me comes from being surprised by the story (which is why I avoid spoilers like the plague), so by the second time I already know what will happen and it has lost it's magic. The exception is some comedies, because I forget the specific jokes over time so they become funny again, or certain movies from my childhood because of the nostalgia factor. So based on this criteria, I have often re-watched Arrested Development, Dumb and Dumber, Hook, The Santa Clause, many Disney movies, Friends, Mrs. Doubtfire, and others I'm forgetting.

As for places I go, whenever I am planning a vacation I resolve to go somewhere new, but almost every time I end up going to Disneyland again instead. The place just draws me in, I can't help it.

For food, I always go to the same restaurants and get the same dishes, because I am not adventurous when it comes to food at all. When I find a dish I love, I want it every time. I enjoy Noodles & Co., the food truck by work, Red Robin, Panera, In N Out, and BJs. If someone suggests something else I will go along (unless it's Asian food), but if I have my own way these are the places we would go.

I am a very slow reader and still working my way through the Hercule Poirot series, so I haven't had the opportunity yet to re-read anything.

Movies and television I have watched multiple times:

The Dark Crystal - it is like comfort food for me, I often put it on at bedtime
Star Trek: The Original Series
and The Animated Series
Galaxy Quest - I am a closet Questerian
Star Trek: The Voyage Home
Vin Diesel's The Pacifier
any James Bond movie with Sean Connery or Roger Moore

Books I remember reading often:
The Hobbit
any Andre Norton and Isaac Asimov book, especially those based in space and Foundation series

The place I most often go to eat is The New Sydney Hotel which is in the city centre so a convenient place for me to meet frends and family.

I usually get small serving of scallops which comes with a salad. but sometimes I select the Grilled Chicken Caesar Salad. I plan to try the Spanish Paella one day.

The only place I have been on holiday in the past decade is Adelaide because I have a sister who lives there but I have only been twice (2005 and 2010).

Potato Gnocchi with roast beetroot, spinach, crispy prosciutto & meredith fetta
This one has my mouth watering.

I am amazed that it costs about as much as a Porterhouse steak! I do like the "no tipping" idea... better to pay a little more and know the servers make a livable wage.:techman:

I see they've largely abandoned English food except for some roasts, the Yorkshire pudding, and "Battered Fish & Chips with mushy peas & brown vinegar." ^_^

Books:
To Kill a Mockingbird, Lee
Memories, Dreams, Reflections, Jung
Harry Potter series, Rowling
some books of the Bible

Movies/TV:
Thunderheart
The Shawshank Redemption
The Sound of Music

most of Star Trek: TNG (a few episodes I've seen only once or twice)

Restaurants:
a couple sushi restaurants
Fiesta Mexicana
anyplace I can find Taharka Brothers ice cream

I go to New York City for two weeks every year, and I plan that trip around seeing as many Yankees and Mets games as I can.

There are other ballparks I'd love to return to (Fenway Park, Camden Yards) but not until I get them all seen, which will take a couple of more years yet.

^ I'm not sure you should count watching different sports games, as opposed to watching the same one over and over because you like the ending. ^_^

Then again, I counted playing Halo as a repeated activity.

Star Trek.

I have watch quite a few episodes/movies of Star Trek several times, but there are certain episodes where once was enough, or even once was once too many.

I've watched all the series and movies at least 4 times now, some much more than that. I know I've watched a few TOS episodes over a dozen times.

(Actually I lie, I've only watched TMP twice. Eventually it will catch up!)

I've read The Slave by Isaac Bashevis Singer about 8 times.
Movies or TV you have watched over and over
Star Trek, Star Wars, Firefly, The Big Lebowski, The Piano (favorite movie). I think I could watch Firefly on repeat, one ep a night for a year.

The restaurants you frequent most often
There's some cheap ass Korean restaurants and Chinese dumpling houses I have eaten in many times, but I've worked my way through the menu. I try and always order something I've never had. I have now eaten the entire menu in a few places.
Video games you often replay
WoW wouldn't count, since it's not replaying so I got nothing.

Places you like go on holidays etc etc
If I actually went on holidays I can't imagine going to the same place twice.

btw you missed music, though that might be too obvious as it is one thing people do repeat over and over.

I admire anyone who can sit through "Spirit Folk" or "Favorite Son" more than once.

I did think of it but, as you said, it is something that people regularly do over and over again.

Maybe I could ask

What singer/group have you seen perform live several times?
