Not sure if this is the correct place to ask, but I know there are s great many tech savvy people here who might just be able to help.
I’m about to embark on my first video project and I’m completely bewildered.
What’s a good, free, starting point for creating a short video, about a minute long, composed mostly of static images with zoom effects and panning to give some impression of motion, along with some brief video. Captions and fade effects maybe, and once I’m more adventurous, superimpose animated snow effects and the like, or would that be something else.
I’m not averse to paying for software, but as a beginner I’d like to find my feet before investing. I’m on an entry level windows laptop, 1gig ram I think.
