Me too. had no idea.

I had a roomate last year who was a theater major and he loved this kind of thing. He would invite friends over to watch his new dvd of HSM2 (it caught on with me I guess) or Hairspray. I'm alright with musicals, but wasn't into these.

For his credit, He was a casual Star Trek fan. He joined in during quite a number of TNG episodes. I remember most clearly his amusingly puzzled reaction to the sudden and random shift to ancient earth in the Robin Hood episode. He also established major geek cred by having wallpaper made from X-men comic book pages.

ahh, those were the days. However, can't say I'm excited about this. Glad for those who are fans though.

Ok, why not. Yes, I have seen the two HSM movies on Disney, and voluntarily, too. And I do have a desire to see number 3, though I don't actually want to watch it... in public. I'll wait until the Disney Channel picks it up.

And even then only on mute and in fast forward....

I can honestly say, no. I want nothing to do with this movie. My little sisters are obsessed with it and so I've seen parts of the first two. They were utter crap. Bad story, bad actors, bad music. So no, definitely not going to see it.
