Actors/Actresses you can't believe still get work.

Agreed. Tom Cruise still makes really good films and he's still good in them.

Now, Camilla Belle on the other hand. She is the hottest girl. Gorgeous. But such a terrible, terrible actress. "Push" is a really good sci-fi action film and she almost singlehandedly ruined it. She should stick to modeling or move to a CW series like One Tree Hill or 90210 where the actors are wooden enough to create a whole forest of bland pretty.

Caruso was the guy I thought of when I read the title.

Since I'm sitting here watching Criminal Minds, I'll admit that I don't get Thomas Gibson either.

Ashton Kutcher
Kevin Costner
Ben Stiller
Vince Vaughn
Jennifer Aniston
Camron Diaz (Amen who eversaid Heather Graham should have her career)
Heather Hudson(you ain't your mother, that's for sure)
Kathy Griffin
Matthew MacConahey
Wil Ferrell
Eddie Murphy
Martin Lawrance
Vin Diesel

Jack Black- He has the emotional and comedic range of a kid with Asperger's syndrome.

Seth Rogen- But only as a leading man. He is fine in a role like he had in 40 Year Old Virgin playing the doufus friend. But who decided that this guy would be good playing romantic leading men?

To me the greatest example of this is Rufus Sewell.
Wot?

Sewell did a movie about Charles II a few years ago where he gave a top-notch performance. He was also solid in Tristan + Isolde; he managed to turn King Mark, the villain of the legend, into a compelling, and somewhat tragic, figure.

Sewell is currently my first choice to play Laurence in Peter Jackson's Temeraire film.

I dunno where you guys are getting this about Rufus Sewell, either. Nothing I've seen indicates bad acting from him. And I also don't get the "not much to look at" comment--I must totally disagree there. (In fact, I actually picture my lead character for Star Trek: Sigils and Unions, Makis Spirodopoulos, as looking like him.)

But here is my list of actors that should not be getting work.

Keanu Reeves
Will Farrell (the only good thing he EVER did and I mean EVER was Stranger than Fiction)
Eddie Murphy
Tom Cruise
Sacha Baron Cohen
Ashton Kutcher
Adam Sandler

Eddie Murphy (especially since every movie he's in now flops)
Cameron Diaz (she hasn't even been hot since The Mask)
Keanu Reeves
Kevin Costner
Sly Stallone (although he's not in many films anymore)
David Caruso
Ashton Kutcher (has never been funny)
Jack Black (really not funny)
Common (has been in several blockbuster movies, but has almost no acting ability)
Basically any rapper-turned-actor
Dwayne 'Don't Call me The Rock Anymore' Johnson
John Cena (seriously, this goes for any wrestler turned actor)
Mike Myers (can't make a good movie since the Austin Powers films ended)

These things are always in the eye of the beholder, of course, but I'm always surprised - okay, astonished - whenever someone claims Cameron Diaz can act. :wtf: Hers was the first name that came to mind when I saw this thread; the second was Tom Cruise. Others would be Julia Roberts (okay, she hasn't worked much in a while but the fact she ever got work...), Keanu Reeves, Brad Pitt (the Thelma and Louise cameo aside, I really, really don't get the fuss over that bloke), Orlando Bloom, and Gwyneth Paltrow.

I often cannot tell if he is acting or just asleep. He delivers lines like he just woke up from a nap, and his eyes point in different directions just like a women who just got breast implants. He has absolutely no charisma, none. A paper bag has more. He is Eeyore in the flesh!

Eddie Murphy (especially since every movie he's in now flops)

Acting ability is up to interpretation, but Murphy's live action work can't be making money for the studios with the kind of performance his movies have had since 2002. It makes zero sense to me why he's still getting live action work; is Murphy some kind of go-to tax write off for studios?

Has anyone said Malin Ackerman? She is awful. :(

Since no one's said it yet, Brad Pitt. The man has all the charisma of a plank of wood.

I would usually agree, but I found him strangely appealing in Burn After Reading, maybe 'cause that's how I picture he actually is in real life!

Jack Black- He has the emotional and comedic range of a kid with Asperger's syndrome.
Which means he just like me then! No wonder I enjoy his stuff.

I'll agree...*puts on sunglasses*...with David Caruso *YEEEEEEAAAAAAAHHHHH!!!!!* But he's such a joke that I consider CSI Miami a comedy

Matt Dillon
Rene Zellweger
John Travolta
Rosie Perez
Tim Allen (Santa Clause shit kept his career alive)
Larry the Cable Guy (did his films make a profit?)
Andy Dick

And I hate to pick on two whose past work I've enjoyed but...Nicholas Cage and Val Kilmer.

YES!
How could I have forgotten Nicholas "I think I'm Elvis from Krypton" Cage?
