News Actor Julian Sands Reported Missing.

British actor Julian Sands, known for his work in shows like “24” and movies like “A Room with a View” and “Arachnophobia,” has been identified as a hiker missing in the Mt. Baldy, California area since last Friday, according to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department.

Sands was reported missing at 7:30pm on January 13, Gloria Huerta, a spokesperson with the department, tells CNN.

This really makes me sad. I really liked him---most of the girls in my high school (way back when) had a huge movie-star crush on him. Mt Baldy is such a dangerous place to hike--two people have already died there in the past 4 weeks. With freezing temperatures and high winds, I don't think it will end well.

Nick Stahl's drug problem is not the same as someone disappearing while climbing a notoriously dangerous mountain in the winter.

Julian Sands is not hiding out, getting high. He's not just hanging around. He's probably seriously injured or dead.

For his family's sake, I hope it's him. How awful for them to have wait so long to find out what happened.

Finding him with so much snow pack is gonna be challenging. I usually prefer to hike CA mountains in the fall after the snow has mostly melted.

I’m really surprised he didn’t carry with him some Sat device. I carry an inreach mini whenever I go hiking.
