Abbe class model

I know you built this primarily as a gag, but I think it's a very plausible design, whether you consider it a point-defense vessel, escort, or fast-response cutter. It looks like a great combination of speed, agility, and . . . teeth!

BTW, I write Starfleet Border Service yarns on the Fanfic boards (Tales of the USS Bluefin). Could I reference the Abbe-class in a TMP era story?

Great work as always!

While not a fan of TOS era ships, I do like the work. Did you scratch build this or is it a kitbash?

Well, I named it as a gag, but the design isn't mine. It's from Jackill's books. The model is a resin kit put out by Alliance Models and sold at Federation Models.

Kids, today! They know nothing about the great WWII sitcoms!

I can't wait for the U.S.S. Hogan.

Or the USS Mockingbird NCC-1313

USS Dragula :p Wonderful model Forbin. It's gorgeous. The Abbe-class is my favorite design by Jackill. I like the name you chose too, it's been ages since I have seen McHale's Navy.

My favorite Abbe-class custom name so far has been USS The Sullivans.
