. . . it would have been fine if the title was not "A-Team".

That was kind of my thoughts as I was watching it. Call it something else, give these guys different names, and I probably would have enjoyed it more.

And then they wouldn't have had to worry about how no one can possibly fill Mr. T's shoes. Instead of a B.A. analogue, they could've just cast someone else who had their own uniquely over-the-top personality.

Yes you're wrong, You don't know one thing about what I would or wouldn't say about some hypothetical movie that doesn't exist. This thread was about discussing what we thought about THIS movie and I did that. Again don't presume you know what I'll say about another movie. I made no personal comments about you or any other poster in this thread, so how about you doing the same?

Yeah, that's why you're getting on your high horse about it, and crying "personal attack!!". Get over yourself.

OK that's enough. You've come in with your attitude telling me what I will or won't say about something and I'm not going to let you slide on that. You do not now, or ever, have the right to speak for me on something I haven't commented about. Twice I've asked you politely to stop doing that and you continue to esclate your attitude and personal attacks on me, and I've had enough of it.

You consider that a personal attack? Sorry if I've offended your delicate sensibilities, princess.

Not exactly sure what I did to incur your wrath, I don't ever recall getting crossways with you in the past, but I guess if it so important to you to insult me because I offered an opinion on a movie in a discussion thread about the movie, then OK, I guess you win. If you don't understand why accusing somebody of saying something they didn't say is offensive, then nothing I'm going to say is going to make a difference with you anyway.

Sorry for wasting everybody's time arguing with this guy. I will use the ignore function.

I was initially making a joke, and you took it to heart. I have no beef with you at all, I just thought you were being overly sensitive.

Then try not to feel the need to run with that...

I'm in the camp of old-time A-Team fandom. Regardless, I think act II was the most serious, best acted. The beginning and end was just filler.

I thought it was great. Lots of fun and I'll probably go see it again.
I'd hurry then if by "go see it again" you imply theatrically.
It's only in 236 theaters nationwide and I'd wage those are the $2 or less cinemas. That is where A-Team is playing here, our $1.50 theater with Iron Man 2 and Shrek 4.

As of Tuesday's(8/4) daily totals A-Team has earned $76.2 million USdom and WW $143.6 million on a $110m budget.

Be curious if DVD sales are strong and if they can lobby for a sequel cause I'd like to see one.
