A Taco Bell Taco Shell Made Out of Doritos?!

I still wish they would bring back the chili cheese burrito though.

It's still on-menu at some locations, and on the last few occasions I've had Taco Bell (which generally happens on road trips with my wife), I've asked for it -- even when not on the menu -- and they've made it with no problem.

I'll try that. I used to eat those every day after school... probably not healthy, but oh well.

Probably?

It's corn, what difference does it make from a regular taco shell?
Doritos have a flavored coating regular tortilla chips lack. In addition to seasoning the coating probably contains added salt and a substance resembling cheese that increases the fat content .

Doritos also contain a healthy (or unhealthy) amount of MSG. This is why they are so addictive.

MSG is in most processed foods, especially snack food.

Hell, the health and other psychological effects MSG is purported to have is unfounded. Numerous blind studies/"taste tests" have been done showing that people who claim to have a "reaction" to MSG do not have one when they eat food that has MSG in it and don't know it.

MSG is nothing more than a slightly more complex salt. I don't think I've ever seen anything reputable that says "for sure" that it has negative impacts or even addictive properties. The only way it could be "addictive" is in a "hey that tastes good, me want more of it!" sort of way.

I’m not a big Doritos fan. I like original, unflavored Fritos — fried cornmeal chips the way God and Nature intended them to be!

I used to love Doritos. My preference usually alternated between the Taco flavored and the Cool Ranch. Taco flavored were great for crumbling into a salad, and the Cool Ranch were perfect for dipping in some cold sour cream. Mm...

Meh. I guarantee people making a regular habit of eating Taco Bell aren't really concerned with their sodium intake.

Here in Buffalo we have Mighty Taco.

Mighty.

Taco.

I too once worshiped at the Altar Of The Bell.

Once I was lost but NOW I AM FOUND.

I will never EVER eat at Taco Bell ever again unless I am really really hungry and there is no Mighty Taco within reasonable distance.

Here in California we have untold amounts of Mexican restaurants, authentic, tex-mex, or chain style, of both the fast food and sit down variety.

I still find the time to enjoy Taco Bell.

Your taco bell probably has higher standards due to such competition.
