There are a couple of ways to get around that in aging the character up. Someone at Winter Is Coming suggested it could be written that she's been married to an old invalid lord who never managed to consummate the marriage and that he's since died leaving her available for marriage again whilst still a virgin. That's not too bad. Another possibility is that it could be said that her family so favors and prizes her that they've held off agreeing to a marriage to anyone less than a king or heir apparent.Margaery makes sense to be 16 as otherwise she would have been betrothed already, being from a rich and power hungry family.
I'd go with this. Indeed, with the series having Loras prod Renly in the direction of kingship, the Tyrells may have had their eye on marrying Magaery to Renly and claiming the Iron Throne for a long time now.Another possibility is that it could be said that her family so favors and prizes her that they've held off agreeing to a marriage to anyone less than a king or heir apparent.
^Nice.Did you make that or find it?
Looks like someone on German Amazon fucked up and the things there are back to normal, though my order page still says it'll be shipped tomorrow. Is it coming out early in Germany? Wikipedia says the US/UK release date is July 12, and I would think being an American book, we'd be the first to get it.
The last couple at least have been released in the UK weeks or months ahead of the US due to their faster turnover from manuscript to the shelves. Mostly it is because the UK publisher has worse editing and quality of binding and much smaller numbers to put out.Is it coming out early in Germany? Ooo, that'd be awesome. Any ideas who he could play?
You don't think...nah. He doesn't look like a Stannis. Does he?
