I'm so sorry to read of having to put your pet to sleep. Your girlfriend did a great thing by taking in the dog where noone else wanted her. At least she lived out her life to the fullest. My condolenses go out to you and your girlfriend. Losing a pet is tough cause they are like members of your family.
