Man, that clip was painful. What really struck me the most was how the man talking to Chun Li started his almost-monotone exposition while staring just off of what would otherwise be directly at the camera. The way that whole shot was put together oozed with the aura of a cheesy mid-day soap opera. 
I never thought Hollywood could fuck up Street Fighter worse than they did with the Jean Claude Van Damme movie, but now it's starting to look like I was wrong.
