A Moment of Silence, please, for "Street Fighter"

Man, that clip was painful. What really struck me the most was how the man talking to Chun Li started his almost-monotone exposition while staring just off of what would otherwise be directly at the camera. The way that whole shot was put together oozed with the aura of a cheesy mid-day soap opera.

I never thought Hollywood could fuck up Street Fighter worse than they did with the Jean Claude Van Damme movie, but now it's starting to look like I was wrong.

That wasn't Chun-Li.

And the line about walking through the raindrops actually is kinda cool - but I couldn't focus on it, the delivery was so awful.

Kristen Kreuk and Chris Klein... gee who could have imagined this would suck???

I had the same thought. Once again my view of reality has been shifted about 18 degrees to the left.

Time to sign back up for Smallville, Kristen Kreuk.

When actors leave "successful" shows (regardless of whether it's good or total garbage, a steady paycheck is a steady paycheck) to pursue a movie career, they should first make sure they have a movie career. Like do some movies in between seasons, and if some are good, see what kind of other movie offers that generates. David Caruso left NYPD Blue to make... Jade!!!!

When are we gonna get a Bad Dudes movie? The President has been kidnapped! So two roughnecks will go rescue him... by foot!

I think Robot Chicken summed these kinds of movies up years ago when they made fake trailers for movie versions of the board games 'Hungry Hungry Hippos' (they are vigilante crime-fighters) and 'Chutes and Ladders' (A Ben Stiller/Owen Wilson buddy cop movie). You know it's heading that way. Especially when Disney has made several movies already based on theme park rides(I think the new film with The Rock is based on a ride).

Well... at least there was a "Kouken" in the movie? :p
And they set up a franchise! With "Rai-yu" in the next movie! :p

I also find it really funny that in some interviews I read with the director and writer, they kept talking about making it realistic. This at the same time as I see a trailer with one of the characters forming and releasing a fireball. :wtf:

Escape to Witch Mountain is a sci fi novel that's already been made into a movie twice.

Now a Monopoly movie being directed by Ridley Scott is just :wtf:.
