there is an american slave ship enterprise (used for costal trade along the us atlantic coast). in 1835 she was driven to the bermudas by heavy winds and forced to seek shelder in hamilton.

does anyone know more about her and especially if she is in jean-luc picard's model collection?

thx

... mods, feel free to move this to a more appropriate location (i'm all but sure whether it belongs here myself)

Which one? There is the wall of ships on the Enterprise-D, then a glass display of gold ships on the Enterprise-E.

Though I imagine the answer to both is no.

exactly

oops's, the enterprise e has only starships on display but archer has drawings and the only sailship is a frigate - click -

is the federation supossed to cherry-pick history? i think not but i may be wrong of course.

Why wouldn't they? If they have a set of values, I don't see them honoring something that conflicts with those values.

Most of the time we see the history of the Enterprise, it's only a selection of ships anyway. EG, the one in TMP leaves out the NX-01, everyone else leaves out the ringship, no one ever includes both aircraft carriers. So there's already some cherry picking going on to begin with.

You mean there isn't room for the hundreds of ships that have carried the name to hang on the wall?!

Yeah this doesn't seem to belong here at all. I'm not sure what you're driving at, but the Star Trek part (such as it is) is easily answered. If you want to know more about a slave ship called Enterprise, maybe try Miscellaneous?
