She plays doctor Fraiser, the chiep medical officer at SGC (Stargate Command).

I might have to catch Stargate one day. I saw an ep a few days back where Salli Richardson (my "Second Sight" goddess ) was playing Teal'c's wife. Man, if I knew she was on the show, I'd would've tuned in LONG AGO She get any more appearances??

You really should give the show a chance though. It's a great show with really great characters, and it's also a lot of fun. And hey, it's also got quite a lot of nice looking ladies on it from time to time.

Anyway...I have been so busy lately, we've got three midterms this week and I had to do a couple of programs. I worked on one for about 10 hours in the last 2 days, plus studying plus going to classes. Oh well, it's actually fun, just exhausting.

I'm FINALLY getting to watch B5 Season 5 now. Byron's not quite as annoying as I remember. I think it helps that I'm watching it all at once in big gulps. My honest sympathy for Lyta helps me deal with Byron's annoyingness too.

I'm ready to strangle Lochley, though. She's stealing screen time from the characters I actually CARE about.

Yeah man, I've been a browncoat since day ONE! They had me pretty peeved at first cause Fox put this in the place of Dark Angel. But after seeing the first ep of Firefly (and that run-in with the propulsion ) I figured I could give the show a chance. And I've enjoyed it ever since. I just finished watching the series on DVD for the umpteenth time, and Serenity can't come out soon enough! Yeah, I'm hooked I don't generally post in the Firefly threads cause there are usually SO MANY posts already, but I usually read 'em.

OK folks, I got my Troy av up. Just make sure you don't look it in the mouth

I'm seriously thinking of buying the first season of Babylon 5 next time I'm in the city. I did some price checking last time, and BestBuy has it for $75 Cdn (about $53 US), does that sound about right?

And a quick question about B5. Is there something like universal translators on this show? Or is everyone just speaking English? I'm only asking because in one episode, the first officer (whose name escapes me at the moment) didn't want to speak about something in Hebrew because Sinclair didn't know that language.

^ IMO $75 CDN is a good price, FutureShop is often selling the S1 for over $100 for instance (which is a huge rip-off). So yeah, $75 is definately a good price. The lowest I've ever seen any season of B5 for is $78 CDN.

I believe it's explained that everyone (like all the ambassadors) on B5 speak english.
