A Degree of pain

I'm not a huge Eureka fan. My girlfriend likes it and even my mom likes it. I usually watch it with my girlfriend. Beside the evil, horrendous new bean counter boss lady, there is something on the show that I really, really hate. The endless in show Degree commercial. Stop the insanity! They have gone too far. Pretty soon entire episodes will revolve around them searching for the lost Degree or just talking about wonderful Degree is.

Someone should do a comedy series that takes in-show product placements to the most extreme (ahem) degree. Just go completely insane. The companies will still get their brand name out there while being made fun of, will look "cool" for not caring they're being made fun of, and the results could be hysterical if done right.

Although it was so hot on The Truman Show whenever Laura Linney would advertise stuff.

Truman thought she was batshit.

Studio on the Sunset Strip addressed the issue. Made set chokka with brandnames to delay lay offs.

I deeply hate it too, but Degree is paying for a 22-episode season, so we're stuck with it.
