Yes, it was ten years ago today that your old pal 1001001 joined TrekBBS. Ten years of laughter and tears, of joy and pain.
I knew very little about computers and online communities. I was on another Trek board first (I can't remember the name anymore). I honestly don't remember how I ended up here.
So many years. So many memories.
I have been a moderator in three different forums. I was even an Admin for a spell, introducing the Jeri Ryan method of closing threads.

Like so many of you, this is truly my online home. I'm always here (what does that say?). I've shared my triumphs (the birth of my son, finishing my doctorate) and my troubles (the death of my sister) with people I've never met but feel like I've known all my life. This really is a great community.
