A conundrum

Ok lads, speak to me. I have an interesting problem and could use some assistance.

There is this TV show here called 'Beauty and the Geek', perhaps you have heard of it. They are casting for the second season and I intend to go and get myself on the show and win the money. Sounds good right? But there's a catch - a couple of catches. I can't go as myself. I have already dealt with this production company on another show and they will not let me 'double dip'. So I need a new identity.

Also I am not anywhere near geeky enough. But seeing as how I am shopping for a new identity I figure I'll fake it- it's not as if any non geek will be able to tell the difference!

My problem is with switching identities though. I could change my name legally but we have interviews for that sort of thing in this country and I can't very well go up to them and say 'I want to change my name from Nick X to John Y so I can trick a TV production company into thinking I am not who I am'. They require proof of identity from auditionees and these can be a passport, birth certificate or drivers license. One of these I will need to fake.

This is where I come to you for advice. Are you able to come up with a brilliant solution to this conundrum? Can you see an angle which had escaped me? Any Aussies here with 'connections' that can get me the paperwork I need?

KTHX

Send in a friend to the TV show and have him repeat everything you tell him through a hidden receiver. It can't loose!

Marry someone and change your last name to hers, then divorce her and keep the name change.

If you want to get on national television, I could give you some pointers.

LOL, is that something to be proud of, winning the prize of a show called The Beauty and the GEEK? :guffaw:

Screw Beauty and the Geek, here is what you need to do:

1. Go to your favorite fast food place.
2. Order one of everything on the menu.
3. Eat it.
4. Repeat steps 1 - 3 daily for a year.
5. Get on Biggest Loser.
6. Win Biggest Loser, and parlay that into your own fitness and cooking show.

Wait, are you trying to tell me there will be something on a reality TV show that is not 100% authentic? I think I need to go re-evaluate my entire belief system.

You had your pic as an avatar lat year, yes?

I've seen a couple of eps of this show. You're geeky enough. And they do have some gorgeous women on there. Might be fun.

In a brain-dead reality TV show kinda way.

Squig offered some pointers above. Stick your head through the roof of a plane like he did, see what happens.

You have an interesting problem, all right. And it's not your ineligibility to appear on this game show.

You've all misunderstood me, I want the hundred thousand dollars. Being on TV is just the price I pay to get that money.

If anyone knows a better way to make a quick $100k I'd like to hear it..
