A.C. Crispin in poor health

It's been reported a couple places that Ann passed away earlier today.

Very sad.

I enjoyed her writing, and my condolences go out to those who knew her and loved her. Her mortal existence may have ended, but she will live on in her writings, and she will continue to entertain others for generations to come. One couldn't ask for a greater legacy.

Well said. My condolences and prayers for her family and friends.

I was hoping her last post would turn out to be a false alarm. My condolences to her family and friends.

So sorry to hear about this. My condolences to her loved ones. She will be missed :(

RIP A.C. Crispin. My condolences to her family and friends. Very sad news.

I was a fan of her Han Solo trilogy. That was a fun series. She used to be a fairly active poster on the Jedi Council forums years ago. I remember messaging her once and she was nice enough to write back.

I've never gotten a chance to read her Star Trek books but I greatly enjoyed the Star Trek comic she co-wrote called Enter the Wolves. It took the story of Spock and Sarek's falling out during the Cardassian situation (as mentioned in Unification Part 1). Her characterizations of Sarek, Spock, and especially McCoy was very impressive. You could actually hear the characters saying that dialogue.

I completely forgot about Enter The Wolves, I have read that. So I have read one of her stories.

Ann's Trek Novel's to this day are a reason I still read Trek Novels. Condolences to her family. My Wife of 23 years lost her battle 3 years ago after a similar 2 year fight, she was 45 years old. This brings up so many emotions in me and has affected me very much. RIP Anne.

Ann's Star Trek book Sarek will always be a favorite of mine. She had an ability to write in such a way that it brought you right into the story and her voicing of the characters was mostly spot on. I wish she had done more Star Trek but thankful for the few we have. Rest in peace Ann!

Kevin

Very sad indeed. She'll be missed a great deal, but well loved and remembered too.
