7 Of 9's Costume?

I prefer this one:

also I never did care for her residual borg hardware :(
also she should have reverted to being called Annika Hansen . . . it would make sense as an ultimate result of living with no individualism in the collective and suddenly having a single identity. she would have probably needed a ton of counseling, but would have also gone to some sort of an extreme to reclaim her identity, chief of which would be a name after being a numeral for so many years

Me either and the sad thing is that Jeri Ryan is far more attractive with out making her look like a nerd's hooker creation. Hell, even on DS9 they managed to make Cardassian woman look attractive despite all the ridges and latex makeup. 7of9 was never attactive to me.

I am so-ooooo-o slow.

It took me years after watching the Phantom Menace to notice that Anikan Skywalker was also suddenly Little Orphan Annie, but now I have to stumble over discovering exactly the same oversight: Little Annie Hansen was orphaned after the Borg assimilated her parents.

Fuck me.

Miss Hannigan = The Borg Queen

Daddy Warbucks = I should say Janeway, but the Doctor actually looked after her fatherly and he was bald.

Punjab (The ethnic butler/Also bald.) Chakotay if janeway is Warbucks, otherwise the Doctor. (warbucks and Punjub lived together with out any women in the house for quite a while, and you heard grace going on about how he really really wanted a young boy... But those two were about as into one another as Kathy and Chuckles.)

Sandy (The Dog) Harry Kim.

Allegories amok!

So would you be more excited by the Queen leading Seven about on a Leash, or Seven turning the tables and garrotting her former monarch with that same length of leather and chain?

Either the blue or the purple one. I really liked when she wore that red dress in that horrid episode where's she dates Wood Boy -- er-- Chakotay and they cook dinner together.

They put her in that costume to try and make her hotter.

this demonstrates that they had no understanding of what an attractive woman should look like as she'd have been much more attractive in a starfleet uniform with her hair down than a tin foil catsuit and headmistress' hairstyle.

This.

The cat suits were abominations.

Of her catsuits, I think I preferred her silver one.

I liked the ribbing underneath her suits. It gave the impression she had more exoskeleton than just we saw on her hand - but IIRC her back was totally bare in Q2. Curse those Voyager continuty blunders! They can't even get naked right!

Actually, that was something I think they got right. The Doctor says in The Gift that as time goes by she'll lose more and more of her Borg hardware. That means, as of The Gift she still has that exo-skeleton underneath the catsuit, but by the time of Q2 it's been removed.

I have a slightly different opinion, she looked really good in that blue Starfleet uniform in "Relativity" and mostly because she looked respectable.

I agree wholeheartedly. Seven (and Troi and T'Pol) looked their absolute best in standard uniforms because they looked respectable and the outfits left room for sublety.

However, if I had to pick one of the catsuits, it would be the silver one.

Ah but wearing that to the beach is so idiotic, who can we take her seriously?

Then that's not her, just fear and doubt piggying backing into ransom's forelobe using a typical unrealistic and airbrushed male fantasy.

All I gotta say is that even my wife found her boobs and cameltoe in those suits distracting at times.

they succeeded in making her look frumpy and about 10 years older

They did the same thing with T'Pol on ENT and pretty much the same thing with Deanna Troi on TNG for a few seasons.

I think all the catsuits spanning these series illustrated (1).

And yet her character was probably the most recognizable thing Voyager had going for it in mainstream pop culture during the time it aired, and we're talking about her outfits and how yummy she looked a decade later, so I think they knew something about what people liked to look at.

You can't please all the nerds all the time, but someone liked the cat suits.

the silver one.

I'm no prude, I liked the catsuits and found them respectable too.
She was covered from head to toe in them, any sexual thoughts come from our own imagination. If the catsuit is disturbing, then it's your own filthy imagination IMO. :p
