As the solar storm rages, Jennifer's Ganger seeks revenge and Rory is cut-off from the rest off the humans. As the crumbling factory fills with toxic fumes and drips lethal acid, Amy is about to find out if two Doctors really are better than one.
And as if that isn't enough, the Doctor, Amy and Rory are fast-approaching another crisis point. One that will change everything...

FYI, the opening episode was the Impossible Astronaut and not the Impossible Planet, that was way back in 2006!

Brilliant episode, despite a blooper or two (there are two Sonics in the middle of the episode) and having figured out the Amy arc and cliffhanger a week ago... 10/10 for the story as a whole.

I thought they had a sonic each which was really confusing me.
Also was there a reason why the screw driver could not lock the door so they could all get away?

While I didn't think it was bad, I didn't really think that was a great episode. I preferred last weeks to this weeks but taken together I think it was a bit too much all over the place to be really good. The cliffhanger was basically been predicted. This (half) series really hasn't wowed me, other than The Doctor's Wife it's been fairly middle of the road, and occasionally annoying.

The Doctor's boots were leather, a form of flesh copied by the Flesh.

If I was writing a later episode I'd have the boots be the villains- the have worn-out souls...

Having just seen the Trailer for next week's episode I understand why they stretched this one into a two parter. Minimal Locations/Cast = Money Saved.
