5 little things that need to be done for "Discovery" to be a Prime Universe show.

DSC is being filmed in Toronto so there's a whole separate list of "let's-reuse-this-set-a-thousand-times" to choose from.
For instance, if any DSC episode has a scene taking place on Earth, they'll just do what every other series filmed in Toronto always does: use Yonge Street. It's stood in for so many other cities (most of them American, ironically
) that I've lost count...

Okay I got two more.
One is we need to see a old idea of Roddenberry final done and that is a episode were one of the new Klingons travel back in time to kill JFK and Burnham and the crew has to stop him.
Also how about hamfisted allegory story about the issue of transgender people that you know can be done better. Two aliens show up on the ship and they look male on one side of the body and female on the other side. The bad alien is after the good alien because he/she is deemed imoral or a deviant by their culture.
Our crew doesn't understand why the bad alien thinks this and the bad alien says something like "Can you not see captain! Lornak is male on the right side of the body and I am male on the left side of the body." After a few attempts to try and take over the ship by the bad alien with magical electricity power we finally get to their homeworld only to find out homophobia has destroyed it.
The bad alien goes crazy and starts chasing the good alien through the corridors of the ship and they then beam down to the planet, all the time while this is happening the captain seems okay with letting them to just hash things out on their own terms.
ALso instead of new CGI to show a destroyed alien city, just use some old stock footage from New Orleans after Katrina or something like that because that is just as good.

If you're referring to Geordi, are you forgetting the scene in the Last Outpost in engineering where he and Riker are discussing a way of breaking free of the power-draining forcefield?
On Topic they need to do an episode where an ex of the captain's comes aboard ship and they just happen to have some pertinent link to the problem to be resolved in that episode.
The Discovery finds a colony where all the adults are dead, leaving only their children to survive. They summon an angel, played this time by F. Lee Bailey...
We need a episode were Burnham takes Captain Georgiou who is in a Pike style wheelchair and can only communicate with a blinking light and sound after getting injured in the pilot and bring her aboard the "Discovery", which in turns she steals and kidnaps them and takes them back to the desert planet with the weird desert alien so the weird desert alien can help her former captain by creating a illusion on that world were she is healthy and can live her life without injury from now on.

. Seriously I wish my memory of things such as instruction s from my boss in work was as good as my remembering obscure facts about thirty year-old TV shows, I'd be MD now.
One of my previous bosses once tried that line on me. I accused him of being an unimaginative hack using tired old clichés rather than thinking up anything original. It's one of the two times I successfully shut him up.
