I didn't say Moe haircuts for ALL Vulcans. Just as not all female Starfleet personnel had big hair and Kirk didn't always karate-chop his opponents. 
I'd be happy for the Moe haircuts to be scaled way, way back, including on Spock. Stonn's style haircut is a little better, tho way too plastered-to-his-head looking in that greasy 60s style...
