24th century fade out

It would appear as if Nemesis will be the end of the TNG era (DS9-voyager-Enterprise included). Some of us saw the last episode of MASH, or Cheers, or Friends or Sienfield.

If you could have gone back to film the final scene of the era, how would you have done it? Picard and Janeway sharing a beer? Sisko coming home to hold his new born child? Quark finally having sex with Kira or Ezri (or heck, both?)

How would you have ended the Picardian era of Trek?

I would end it with a 24th Century Spock going back in time to stop a Romulan baddie from killing his best friend before he becomes a living legend, feign death on the Enterprise-B and end up maggot food on some desert planet.

Oh.... uhhhhh, what?

Well in hindsight had they knew that would have been the end of the 24th century, it might have been nice, if sorta of fannish, if Voyager had returned to the Alpha Quadrant, was escorted by Picard and the Enterprise-E and docked with much fanfare at DS9. End it there and forget about making Nemesis.

Agreed.

"Let's just hope it's not the end."

It is. TOS! TOS! TOS! TOS!

Oh ya...

ENT is Picardian Trek!? :wtf:

I like that alot. Would of wrapped everything up nicely.

I would've seen Sisko come home to hold Kassidy while she was still very (last trimester) pregnant. Spend time with Jake who has to get used to the idea that (again) he'll have to play second fiddle of the Emmisary's new child. Ben's already had so much done to him. His oldest friend Dax killed by a possessed Cardassian, & Jake traumatized by the various Prophet-induced encounters between he, the Cardassians, his own crew & the orbs.

I'd like to see some (post-Dominion War,) "where-are-they-now" stories pertaining to Dr. Kathrine Pulaski, the Voyager crew after their arrival at Earth in "Endgame", Pt. II. Wesley Crusher, et al. I agree with MsKim, I'd have loved to have seen Teilani Kirk, Spock, & the rest of the TMP/TNG "Generations" crews getting on with typical life in Starfleet.

And right there everyone realizes "Oh shit we should have just headed for the Gamma Quadrant cause there's a wormhole right there!"

Going to the Gamma Quadrant end of the wormhole would've taken as long as simply heading back to the Alpha Quadrant would've, with the added risk that the wormhole may have collapsed in all those years.

Well judging by some maps i have seen going to the wormhole would be a shorter journey (though still take a long time) but of course you wouldn't like to depend on a wormhole still being there in 20+ years time.
