NBC don't seem to know what to replace Heroes with so maybe the best solution would be Heroes 5th season 12 episodes to wrap it up in the fall then 24 season 9 in midseason. I still think it will be cancelled but NBC are desperate very desperate.

Would NBC have to buy the whole franschise (With books, comics and all there is), or can they just take the show? The first alternative seems costly.

They would only get the show because there are still talks about Fox doing a movie franchise.

How about this for the season 8 finale...

A nuke is about to go off somewhere in New York City... and that's when a collection agency official shows up at CTU demanding to speak with Cole Ortiz about a $300 debt he owes from 10 years ago. They have the wrong person, but the official takes offense to CTU kicking him out because their priority is some so-called "terrorist threat crisis," so the official calls his collections agency, who has their own private mercenary team on standby so that they can storm CTU and capture Ortiz in order to get that $300 debt paid.

I'd hate to see 24 end up on a third-rate, garbage network like NBC.

How about they film 3 movies back to back, and make them parts of an actual 24 h day, but with 9 hour gaps while Jack takes a plane to the other end of the world to continue tracking whoever.

Any important moments in betwen could either be webisodes and/or "Previously on 24".


Or they could be titled

"120" "240" and "360"

I'm hoping that this continues in the future so I really want NBC to pick it up. Even though it's not what it used to be, the show's still entertaining and I'd look forward to it continuing.

If an asteroid is going to hit the earth in exactly 24 hours, is there anything Jack Bauer can do? Even though the asteroid is 24 hours away, can Jack Bauer get there in 10 minutes? Can he torture some rocks to find out what the asteroid is thinking?
